Members of the Phillipsport Community Center arrived early this morning to open the doors for our annual yard/book/bake Sale. People came from near and far and our day was a great success! We would like to thank all those who contributed merchandise for the sale, those who donated books, and those who baked as donations for the sale. Many thanks to all those who came to the sale and purchased merchandise...without your interest, the sale would not have been a success. Proceeds from the inside portion of the sale today go to funds for the Community Center's Maintenance and charitable causes, with proceeds from outside booths aiding in the continued restoration and planting at the Poplar Grove Cemetery. Thank you once again to everyone who made this day a success!

A warm thank you to Andy Weil for building "The Phillipsport Little Free Library"! The Little Free library was built by Andy in memory of Eileen Haworth Weil, a long time resident who was on a life-long quest for learning and teaching.
The library will be situated at the Gateway Park into Phillipsport. Books will be available on the basis of "need a book, take a book...have a book, leave a book".
